Cant do stuff with newly added HDDs

I just added and formated  2 new drives and now it says i dont have permission to create stuff on them, is there any way to fix it?

Are you logged into an admin account and running app as admin?

change the permissions of the drive by right clicking and selecting properties and then click permission and let your user read and write.

Did you gave Full access read & write in Security or sharing tab i think to the new formatted drive

I cant change those settings

Re-format it with new permissions

use the terminal and type chmod -R 777 /mnt and chmod -R 777 /media.
