Go to solution Solved by batpanda,

Did a quick check on my components to ensure they were working- 4770k (stock clocks, stock cooler) and dual 290x (stock clocks, stock cooler): http://www.3dmark.com/fs/1262528

Once my loop is complete, I will try to beat that top score here- until Digital Storm posts his quad 780Ti scores that is!

In march next year if Maxwell is released and they are a worthy upgrade then I will be getting rid of my 780Ti's, but if it's not worth it then I will be buying a Waterchiller for around £350 and some waterblocks for my gpu's and will be getting some serious overclocking done on them and my cpu.

Really need to sort the cooling out for my cpu so I can start benching it properly at over 5.2ghz.

Temps maxed out when benching at around 82c under a 480mm and 360mm rad with the motherboard watercooled.

Doubt Maxwell releases so soon, especially given that Apple, Samsung and Qualcomm are really pushing the fabs on 20 nm devices. Laptops and mobile devices take precedence over graphics cards purely on sales and profit margins.
