Need a good GPU/PSU bundle

Just built my PC. i5 6500 not overclocked, 8g ddr4 ram at 2133MHz, nothing fancy. Hae an Elgato HD60 I wanna sell back for 180$ for more upgrades, I can't even utilize it's full 1080p potential so no point in having it. Wanting to get a decent (not top of the line) gpu and a new psu, psu is cx430 and everyone says do NOT run a video card on it so I'll sell it and get a new one. What would you guys recommend?

 

 

Edit : Would prefer nvidia card for the software features but it also depends on price and such.

R9 is too much, is there any decent video cards for like 120$? Obviously it won't play super amazing games but I don't play high power stuff anyway, I'm more of like a medium-ish gamer. Blizzard games, mmos, flash games, light steam games, stuff like that. Right now my intel 530 handles everything fine I just want a little extra power for more fps, like a small card. Are the lower gtx cards any good? Like the 650's and 750's?

750ti and a 380w Antec Earthwatts, then. That's like $150+ tax.

Looking at those now, which brands are a solid nono, meaning some good choices I know are evga, msi, ect. What's a brand NOT to choose? Weed out the bad.

Go with the 750ti, depends on the games you play though.

i5 6500: 65w
gtx 750ti: 60w
Everything else: 100w
Total: 225w

Probably a better option as you'll have the ability to upgrade from the 750ti later.

Total price of the seasonic PSU and the video card would be about 190, not bad. Time to go sell my elgato.

You could run an i5-6600 and a GTX 980 on 350W.

Although the problem with lower wattage PSUs are their lack of power connectors most of the time. A good quality 380W should come with at least 1 8-pin PCI-E power connectors. I have a CX450M and it comes with 2 8-pins and as far as I know it's able to deliver their rated power.

on craigslist I find used 960s for like $150 all the time I would just go to a local classified site if you insist on new a 950 is only like $130 to $150 ish here is a link http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=gtx+950 there are some cheep 750 tis on there too.
