Sorry if I sound dumb I'm new to PC related stuff. So I'm building a PC for my room but my WiFi router is on the floor under me so how can I have good wifi conection? Would it be a good idea to get a WiFi extender that plugs into the wall and I plug in my computer to that? Thanks for any help.

Honestly one wall shouldnt do much IF its made out of Wood and Drywall/Plaster. If you have brick or cement them your kinda screwed. The advice I always suggest is getting WiFi Analyzer on a phone or tablet and see what the signal strength is in that room. This should give you a better idea before going out and spending money that you might not need to spend. A second thing I would recommend is DO NOT use a USB adapter. Get your self and internal PCI Express card for the WiFI connection. Also if your able move the router closer, like putting it on a shelf or something closer to the ceiling.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
