First Build for Video Editing/Gaming

Snow0296

Hi, wanted to ask the community if I chose the right components for Video editing and Gaming. I am on a budget about $800-900. But since I'm in Malaysia prices might be a little bit different. I went for AMD instead of Intel because of the budget and needed cores. So heres the plan.

Processor: AMD FX-8320

Motherboard: MSI 970A-G46

RAM: Kingston HPX 16GB 1600 Dual Channel

Graphics: MSI 650 PE/650 Ti

SSD: Samsung 830 120GB (Boot drive, I bought it already since its on sale off about $30-40)

HDD: 2TB Seagate Barracuda (on a bid for about $30-40)

Cooling: Please recommend descend water cooling

Case: Cougar Solution (AF-2)

Monitor: LG IPS224T

Looks good, If you can bump up to a 660 it will be worth it.

Decent watercooling would be anything kinda H80 and up.

The first step to insanity is believing in your sanity.

660 ti is double the price of 650 ti, so maybe not. Other brands except from corsair? not that I hate them.

Whoops sorry, not double the price but it is $100 more. Anyways the 700+ CUDA cores should be enough and I dont get so hype bout super high FPS in gaming
