http://www.vortez.net/articles_pages/nvidia_gtx_780_review,11.html

GTX 780 = 8684

TITAN = 8970

Note that all these scores have been aquired on performance preset.

Anybody knows what exactly does this mean:

270X is 7970 right? So the new Hawaii is only 28% faster than it? lol not impressed.

I think 7970 performs more like R9 280X. Basically they're pulling the same tactic as nVidia with a new high end card and the rest of the line-up performing like the slightly higher end predecessor (R9 280X = 7970, R9270X = 7950 etc.)

R9-290X is the all new Titan competitor GPU.
The R9-280X is a 7970 Ghz Edition.
Still not sure what an R9-270X is, could be a 7870 Tahiti LE, could be an overclocked 7870.
R7 260X is a 7790.
