Two 780 ti's for $200?

So I called this guy on Craigslist who is selling two 780 ti's for $200. Not each... for both. This is a steal right? Like, I should totally jump on this, right? Just wanted to see if you all thought it was a great deal too.

Yeah it's a steal. 

They are aging cards though, albeit quite beefy ones.

True, I know they're getting older for sure which is why I asked. But yeah, they're pretty hefty!

well, if you want to replace your 980Ti... You'll have to deal with SLI and probably need a new PSU, how big was the performance increase from 780Ti to 980Ti?

 

For a second, new system, it's probably a good bargain

if you would buy it no post or sending shit you will get scammed 10000% if you want to buy it you have to go to hem and check if they are really 780 TI's i,ve that there are many scammers on craigslist not living in the USA (europe) so don,t know how it works there.

Considering that 780 TIs in SLI rival a single 980, $200 for both is the bargain of the decade. There is the relatively low amount of VRAM to deal with, but other than that it's worth a buy.

 

Just make sure they work and he's not fleecing you.

IT would be totally local pickup. I'll be meeting him at huis place and seeing them run in his rig first.

Very true, essentially a 980 for half the price (except SLI headaches). I'll keep you guys updated!

You will be limited by VRAM quite a bit, because 780Ti is around the performance of a GTX 970 usually, but with two of them and 3GB of VRAM this will be a bottleneck, nevertheless for 200$ I'd take it immediately if I needed a GPU

They don't have much Vram for today's standards, they are quiet old and power hungry. But that price is an insane steal. These cards still go for $400+ each brand new.

Yeah the 3GB will definitely hurt a bit but it'll only really be for 1080p gaming or video encoding stuff.
