Yes, although SLI 970 is 95% of the time a bad idea and thus should be avoided.

Not really. It was more powerful than my 980 Ti in the majority of titles.

afaik 'the majority of titles' don't properly support SLI. Certainly not the latest AAA games.

Skip the 970 SLI and put together that money for a 1070 or 1080
