So this girl and I are good friends, we have been since we met it 7th grade, we are now freshmen (9th grade). And our school is having this dance that I want to take her to. We are both shy people, I asked her in person, she responded over email about a half hour later. I have attached a picture of what I sent her to remind her to respond, and her response. Will somebody please tell me what the hell her response means?

Personally I'd say she's clearly not interested, but then you could also make the case that she just doesn't want to go to the dance in the first place which is why she's not answering. But you won't know that until she actually gives a real answer, good luck with that...

She doesn't know what to say. Let her marinate on it for a little while. Don't push it too hard (ha!) and ask her again/talk about it (IRL) in a few days. Don't pressure her and don't expect her to say yes. If she doesn't want to go with you, oh well.
