Best windows screengrab tool?

Go to solution Solved by suchamoneypit,

puush. Extremely useful. I cringe every time I see my friends use Lightshot.

although I heard there was a security breach a while back, although I used a unique password so I didn't care or look into it.

Hi,

Just wondering what screenshot tool you all use/think is the best. I use PicPick but it has this really annoying update dialog box that shows every boot so I'm looking for an easy alternative. Also please don't suggest PrintScreen + paste into paint :P

1- Do Alt+Print Screen to take a screen shot of a selected window

2- You can use Snipping tool, which also feature a delay option under Windows 10.

3- You can use Shotty, a free software that allows you to take a screen shot with Windows 7 transparency borders, so that it looks real nice, and shadows of the window.

4- For games, if you are under Windows 10, you can use XBox App feature, which allow you take screen shots or record game play. All settings are under the XBox app if you fire it up.
