Can Dual Link DVI-D Do 4k @ 60hz?

VirusStorm

My monitor only has two ports. VGA and Dual link dvi-d. I am currently using dual link dvi-d. I was wondering if my current port can do 4k @ 60hz

It can not power a 4k monitor at 60Hz. Its limit is 2560x1600 at 60 Hz, I want to say.

You may want to move up to DisplayPort for higher refresh rates.

nope

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)
