If I remember correctly, that's the larger cousin of the GN246HL (~24" instead of 27"). That's the one I have.

If it's the same stuff just a larger panel, it's excellent. The colors are great, and better than many IPS displays I've used. The refresh rate will ruin pretty much every other display that is slower than 120hz for you though. I can't use 60hz monitors for long periods of time without getting a headache now.

The only gripes I have with is that the stand is meh. Wobbles quite a bit if you bump the table. It's never fallen over and it doesn't shake while typing though, so I don't particularly care. Brightness settings don't really lower brightness, only lowers the refresh rate of the backlight. It creates a nasty strobe effect if you're not on the highest brightness setting. The other gripe is that the 'settings menu' or whatever you want to call the monitor's controls aren't good. The 'intro' stuff with the Acer logo is like 7 seconds long, and you can't skip it every time your monitor wakes from sleep. The 'skip forever' button doesn't skip it. I can't get the settings to make it so the monitor won't go to sleep in the first place.
As said, the stand doesn't bother me. There is the option for a VESA mount. The brightness can be corrected using software to artificially dim the screen. It should be noted I have sensitive eyes and the brightness probably won't bother most people. The sleep/intro thing is more annoying than a serious problem. The monitor has never gone to sleep when I'm at the computer, so not something worth fussing about imo.

Basically, if you can get a good deal on it, it's one of the best monitors you can get. There will be slight annoyances, but they are slight. Also note that this is for the GN246HL, which I believe is the same family as the 276.

"Normandy" i7 4790K - GTX 970 - Phantom 410 (Gun metal) - Z97 Extreme4 (asrock) - 128GB Crucial SSD - 1TB WD HDD - H60 Refurb. - 7 case fans | G710+ Keyboard, G230 Headset, Acer GN246HL Monitor.

Quick thoughts on system: I7 is extremely quick and I'm glad I spent the extra for hyper-threading. I regret my decision to get the GTX 970, it has horrible coil whine. There isn't any excuse for this terrible whine I and others are having. I HIGHLY recommend a 144hz monitor. Future Improvements/upgrades: Rubber fan mounts, basic speakers, more ram (for a total of 16gb), replace GPU.

144hz is love. 144hz is life. I like to submit unfinished posts then do about 20 edits. I like the Night Theme too.
