it should. Pretty much every AMD socket uses the same mounting hardware. (I used a FM2+ cooler on AM3+)

Wait why ask the question, what are you planning on doing? if you're going to spend money upgrade from FM2 to FM2+ don't bother man, unless your FM2 motherboard broke or something. were you going to buy a new one?

AM3+ stock coolers will also work

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Don't put words in our mouth :P

I don't recommend the EVO because you can find coolers with the same performance for significantly less (although availability isn't as good since they're from smaller companies) or coolers with the same price and amazing performance (this one beats both the NH-U12S and the be quiet! Dark Rock Slim, which cost twice as much).

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here
