Wireless speakers for receiver

Recently we repainted the living room and after doing so the speakers for the receiver were never reconnected because "They're too big and the wires are ugly" (quote from my mother). I've tried to tell her several times that she should reconnect the same speakers for the sake of simplicity because we already know that they work with that system. She refuses to listen to me so now I have a pair of Aiwa 60W speakers connected to the 250W receiver praying to god that nobody tries to turn it up too loud (my personal speaks for another project).

Are there any wireless alternatives that can be plugged into the back and work off of the volume for the receiver itself? I don't know a whole lot about consumer speakers so bear with me. I can also get the model number of the receiver later if needed. The speaker's connection type is the same as the pic, it's specific name escapes me right now.
