run malwarebytes

if malware bytes doesn't work run adwcleaner

refresh your browser

 

Also what adware is it... like Provider is a common one, along with the hundreds of ones that pretty much turn your entire screen into a hyperlink.

damn adware these days... locking your caps lock too

first

then download malwarebytes and run a scan, then scan your computer with an antivirus

if that doesnt remove it then you'll have to deal with it specifically depending on which adware is it

 

or just format your computer and install things carefully this time

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately
