when i bought garry's mod (about 1 year ago) ,there was no warning that i have to get other games that use source engine.now i want to play multi-player in gmod but all the map is missing texutres and error signs.

 

it is f*cking annoying.

its ok to do this.but at least tell me that i buy an incomplete game :angry:

There are ways to download the necessary files (CS:S), if you have the files you can run the mods. Don't ask me where to get them, I haven't found the myself.

Yes I want to play prop hunt as well..

You can find content packs... but who doesn't have half life, tf2 and css by now? lol,

Seriously though, blaming valve for this isn't right. Its the people who use gmod that decide to import props from other source games. This is why valve always has the source games bundle in the sale ;)

Try and buy the valve complete pack for stupid cheap during the steam Christmas sales, half life, cs, portal are all really great games regardless of if you are buying them for Gmod.

As others have stated, it's a known prerequisite for Gmod, that said, i can understand not reading it all. Although, it is a mod (as the name suggests :P) that's not made by valve and it is sold in double packs, so i really don't see an issue

You can get TF2, which is a great game and it went free to play a while ago. Even if you never play it, just download it for free and there you go!
