I need a little help choosing a solid performing  wireless network adapter for my desktop. I am a bit of an aesthetics nut... so I am only looking for the more "attractive" side of the market. (That means no green PCB! :D)

Any suggestions for under 50.00 US would be nice.

PCIE is what you want to use. Just get something that goes along with your router. So if your using an AC 1750 router try to an AC 1750 card.

Alternatively there are other ways to get a wired connection. Power line Ethernet and MOCA. If you do the wireless route 5Ghz is your friend. It will give you the fastest speeds as long as you are close enough as it does not have range and as good penetration power. I really dont have any I can recommend. I think ASUS had one that was red. But most of them are going to be ugly green. Beggars cant be choosers my friend.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
