is this a good Mini ITX gaming PC?

RRGT19

Hi,

I will buy the GPU on June, when PASCAL is on sell.

What do you think about this build, is it good?.

The SP120 PWM is for the radiator of the H100i and the single SP120 is for the GPU because I want a Hybrid version and I hate the fans that came with them.

Decent, if you want better fans, get some noctua or something instead of getting more SP fans that are the same just at a slower speed....

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

The thing is that I like the design of them and I want to have a lot of products from Corsair, it's a personal taste jeje.,

What do you mean by decent, is it a bad build?, what can I upgrade?.

It's decent as in it's good, I don't see any problems with it but 2~ months with no dGPU...r1p

Dominator because i like the light with the light bar kit.

SP because i like the aesthetics of them.

What things you would change if it was for you?

smaller SSD, 500gb is the best price per gb iirc

i would go 5820K, lower IPC, but not much more $$ for 2 more cores, not used in games now but might come in handy when DX12 becomes mainstream

cheaper ram kit

3TB HDD is the best price per gb iirc

a different case (i like the 380T)

a lower wattage and different model psu

and silent wings fans

basically, a whole new build :D

For me, the fans but since you want it (and it's build so it's your choice)...nothing as they are all good parts :D

Well the PSU is pretty overpriced, I would have gone with a quality 650W unit from Seasonic or EVGA's G2 lineup, but it's otherwise not too bad.

Sidenote: I know from experience that the Corsair fans are loud. I'd recommend others.

Project White Lightning (My ITX Gaming PC): Core i5-4690K | CRYORIG H5 Ultimate | ASUS Maximus VII Impact | HyperX Savage 2x8GB DDR3 | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB | WD Black 1TB | Sapphire RX 480 8GB NITRO+ OC | Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV ITX | Corsair AX760 | LG 29UM67 | CM Storm Quickfire Ultimate | Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum | HyperX Cloud II | Logitech Z333

Benchmark Results: 3DMark Firestrike: 10,528 | SteamVR VR Ready (avg. quality 7.1) | VRMark 7,004 (VR Ready)

Other systems I've built:

Core i3-6100 | CM Hyper 212 EVO | MSI H110M ECO | Corsair Vengeance LPX 1x8GB DDR4  | ADATA SP550 120GB | Seagate 500GB | EVGA ACX 2.0 GTX 1050 Ti | Fractal Design Core 1500 | Corsair CX450M

Core i5-4590 | Intel Stock Cooler | Gigabyte GA-H97N-WIFI | HyperX Savage 2x4GB DDR3 | Seagate 500GB | Intel Integrated HD Graphics | Fractal Design Arc Mini R2 | be quiet! Pure Power L8 350W

I am not a professional. I am not an expert. I am just a smartass. Don't try and blame me if you break something when acting upon my advice.

I'm usually pretty good about helping people out with their builds, but right now, I feel like this guy had just found the "sort by price" button on pcpartpicker and went ham on it. 1tb SSD, only 16gb of Dominator's with a custom light kit, a mini ITX case/mobo?!

hey, he asked "if it was for you"

he can probably just ignore the parts he wants to stay, which probably everything lol

OK, can someone give me a part list please?.

I know there is cheaper memory ram out there, but I think that the lights on it are cool, just saying

True true, that is indeed true...we may as well just build him a eatx build for the Lolz :D

edit: @RGT your build is fine, there's no parts you actually need to change because of low quality or what ever...we are only suggesting some changes as we feel like we can get better bang for the buck for the same price

Just to mention.

Here is my thoughts

SSD 500GB = FULL, I need more space, I will sell it tomorrow to a friend.

Dominator = expensive but I like the lights with the Light Bar Kit

PSU and Case = I had them of an old build

SP fans = well, aesthetics is good and in the other hand, I want to have all from Corsair to match.

I will spend like $100-150 with this upgrades. Is not much if you want to have this PC for 2-3 years, right?.

You screwed up your corsair themed build by not buying a corsair case! xD

I had a 88R before but I sold it because I won't use 2 GPU, and it was a big case for my desk... Mini ITX cases from Corsair are ugly and Phanteks was the winner here
