Laptop Fan Always Running

Maximoose

My laptop fan is always running even when under light load (like when I'm typing this forum post). My laptop is running windows 10 and has an i7 and 8 GB of RAM, it is a HP

Spectre x360. As I am typing this forum post, my CPU temp is hovering around 140-160 degrees farenheight and my CPU is 50% utilized, nothing else is running but Microsoft edge with 6 tabs open and RealTemp (A CPU temperature monitor) Am I doing something wrong, or is my laptop supposed to run this hot all the time. Do you think my laptop is meant to run this hot all the time, or am I doing something wrong.

Thanks, any help is appreciated.

Got an Android, never going back to apple again (notice I spelled apple with a lowercase and Android with an uppercase)

It sounds like theres a heavy background process or two running, scan through your processes. If nothing appears to be running heavy(alot of cpu) then run a virus scan.
