"System and compressed memory" using too much RAM !!!

This happened when I updated to win10. It's not a big problem but I only have 8GB RAM and I do have quite a few programs running at the same time. This "feature" takes up to more than 1GB most of the time and it always cap my RAM usage above 70%. That means if I play a game or run antivirus it's gonna be almsot 100% and it makes my pc a bit slower. If something else pops up then my pc definitely lag or even hang. Is there a way to fix this ? Is it ok to close this on task manager ?

do a clean install of windows 10, do not upgrade to windows 10

the upgrade process screws up a bunch of stuff and causes many issues, one of which can be high memory usage

if you do a clean install the proper way you will not have these issues

That's weird, i didn't know this. But I don't have time for this. I'm gonna have to reinstall all my programs and setup everything again :( . Maybe I'm just gonna wait until I buy new RAM or build new PC. I probably can live with this minor problem.

this isnt the only problem though, you will probably encounter a lot of other problems in the future like BSODs or windows updates not installing or programs not working

so you would have saved time by doing a proper clean install instead of doing the upgrade and having to clean install in the future when half your OS is broken...

but whatever, do what you want
