Get sweat off keyboard?

Im starting to see sweat residue (ik ew) so im wondering what is best for cleaning the keycaps

The highest purity alcohol you can find its worked for me in the past. Alcohol not only kills any bacteria on there but it also dissolves the grease from you fingers. 70% pure or higher.

I use damp microfiber towel, using warm water.

Stop using ABS keycaps, get some Vortex PBT or PBT + POM for backlit (massdrop).

Take they keycaps off and wash them with a little bit of soap and some water.

i would do what MayBach said. Get some high proof isopropyl alcohol and put some on a paper towel. Wipe it down.

I just pull all the keys off mine every so often, get all the debris out of the bottom and then just give the keys a wipe in a microfibre cloth as they go back on.

I've also just thrown them in with some warm water and some denture/brace/retainer/whatever cleaning tabs in too and let that clean them.

 

Either way has worked fine.

+1 for alcohol. It's perfect! (although, I think it can dissolve some of the UV coating on backlit keycaps....)
