600 USD PC Gaming Build

Revdudeson

Hello there! I need some help for my PC Build I have created. I want to keep it around 600 USD like it currently is. But I still need help with it.  I am going for a Red/Black theme and was wondering if anyone knew of a decent motherboard with a red and black theme that fit my build and wouldn't put me over budget.

Thank you! All tips and help are much appreciated!!!

Laptops

Decent build. I'd go Skylake at that budget since prices are virtually the same. A i5 6400 with DDR4 RAM would be your best bet.

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

Spoiler

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K - 4.5 GHz | Motherboard: ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO | RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 | SSD: Samsung 850 EVO - 500GB | GPU: MSI GTX 980 Ti Gaming 6GB | PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2 | Case: NZXT Phantom 530 | Cooling: CRYORIG R1 Ultimate | Monitor: ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q | Peripherals: Corsair Vengeance K70 and Razer DeathAdder

I SSD will make you build much faster

I understand that and SSD will make it faster but i can deal with slightly slower wait times if it means I'm getting it cheaper. Plus i can always go on eBay or craigslist later and get a cheap boot ssd

If you use the ssd before you will never get back : )

Also if you already spend 600$ another $40 for new ssd is not that much , if you get the ssd later you will reinstall the windows and all the software which is not a good time.
