SSHD to replace SSD and HDD

yasho2249

Is SSHD a good solution for a budget gaming pc instead of a SSD + HDD?? Coz I don't see much people recommending it in their builds

No, it's really not.

A SSD + HDD combo will always be a better choice than a SSHD.

SSHD is a beter option than a single HD in terms of raw performence, however in terms of price it dosent make much sense (for a desktop). If you are trying to save money, but you want good performence I would go with the traditional ssd boot drive plus a HD. If you realy need something to run fast, than you can put that thing on your ssd, but for evrything else, a HD will be pleanty fast. I recomend a 128 gb ssd and a 1tb HD. Alternatively, if you don't need a lot of storage, you could just do a single 240gb SSD.  I'll add some links to good cheap options (seeing as you are trying to save money).
