New Brunswick. Also, where is Linus specifically on the west coast, I heard that west of the rockies it doesn't get that cold.

Linus is in Langley BC, is he not?

A hoodie of any thickness usually suffices for double digit negatives so I usually leave my window open to cool my PC whenever I'm doing anything intensive. My roommates being happy about that decision is a different story...

My dad expects to golf well into November and maybe December.  Climate change has happened big in Canada over recent years due to global warming from companies KILLING the earth.  With that said I don't know how it will hurt or help cooling our pcs.  Unpredictable weather.

I will say this though that the ambient temperature in my mom and dad's basement is awesome and my old socket 775 machine ran much better there.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

At that temperature he could hit 6ghz on haswell, and that would be pushing it.

On a different note, what is winter?

                               Sincerely, Florida.

I think its related to this thing called "Seasons," I'll have to google it.

I've thought about sticking my radiator outside my window, but the liquid might freeze if the pc shuts down :L

There is nothing to worry about :) If you just put some Glycol (Think that is how you spell it in English...) the Glycol will prevent it from freezing :)

Just as the Glycol in prefilled radiators for PCs wont freeze, at least not easy ;)

Well, winter is coming soon here in Canada. (Dropped below 0 C where I am a few times.) I was wondering if anyone would like to see Linus take a test bench outside sometime this winter and do some overclocks with the help of the cold.

P.S: Not sure if this is the right section, please move this if it is not.

Place desk near window/doors outside, buy long tube and put rad outside without fans for the night and OC.
