amd phenom x6 1035t

ram 8gb ddr2 800mhz

gtx 660 ti

are enough for gta 5 ?

You're going to want to upgrade that CPU along with the RAM.

ur mobo, CPU and ram need to be replaced, second hand SLI 660ti is an option but you will have to get a new PSU also.

the gpu is fine, but the cpu needs some boost

try getting something newer?

like AMD FX or intel's haswell based pentium or something

You'll need at least a Alathon 760k and to upgrade a cpu to that you'll need a new motherboard and ram

It will run just fine, just don't expect high settings 60fps

His CPU is essentially an FX6300 >.<... A Pentium is a VAST downgrade.

Yes, yes it is. It's a true 6-core CPU with IPC similar to Nahalem. The Minimum listed is a Q6600 - the Phenom II X6 is 2 times faster

If your games ran at 5pfs then it's likely you messed up somewhere else. As for the OP, GTA V on medium is not as demdaning as you might believe. It simply needs 4-8 threads.

Min just means it can boot that game. Doesn't mean it can play it at a playable framerate
