Motherboard for budget PC?

Hey everyone! I'm building a budget PC for my friend, but I need a motherboard. I never really was good with motherboards. So basically, I need an ATX motherboard for a PC with an AMD FX-6300 CPU, a GTX 750 Ti GPU and DDR3 RAM (obviously). What mobo should I use? And I need one that would be cheap, but still trust that it works. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Is this one okay? https://pcpartpicker.com/part/asrock-motherboard-fm2a88xpro3

It's really budget. Like... $300. And I'm going with the FX-6300 unless you can show me an equivalent Intel CPU that is $100 or less.

can't. my friend doesn't have much money, but he's at least getting quality stuff that he knows will last... considering that AMD will hold out. It shouldn't be that bad.

The Pentium G3258 gives that CPU a run for its money.

Costs less and does the same job.

The Athlon X4 860K is largely a 4 core version of the FX-6300.

Sadly, Intel simply runs all over AMD these days.  AMD is REALLY going to need a win with Zen. :)

@OP

You can build a G3258/GTX750Ti or 860K/R7 265 "Or what is the current equivalent of the 750Ti" in same Price point and you will still get a better money for the Intel/Nvidia build, currently imho i will go with the g3258 pair it with what you might end up playing and you can using the 1st build on specific game in a long term then go with an i5-4460 to boost performance in the future to come.

Here i help a friend build a Drit Chip Gaming Rig, But there was a request make me a PC that i could show off when they see my case but when the guts is reviled they will be Awed with Surprise.

CPU/MoBo Bundle: Intel Pentium G3258/MSI B85M-Gaming ($106)

RAM: G.SKILL F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) ($74)

SSD: ADATA Premier SP550 120GB ($34)

GPU: MSI GTX 750Ti GAMING ($124)

PSU: Corsair VS450 ($34)

CASE: THE CHEAPEST CASE THAT I COULD EVER FIND HERE WITH A M-ATX CASE ($8)

Total Cost: $380

There are a lot of things you could do with your Build but for what i have been through even if your buying a Budget Gaming PC there still a Good Feeling when you can enjoy the View of your PC when your not doing anything.

GAMING RIG

i5 4590 / 16GB / RX 480 8GB
