I would highly reccomend agains a vm based gaming compuer. THere are way to many problems for it to be pratical. You will also need a third gpu for the os to use(anything works get like a 5450.

Probably going to be better off just building 2 mid range gaming rigs, you could even save some cash and get an i3, it'd be a bit faster even than what you have there

also a 380 is going to be faster than a 960

that CPU is fairly slow for a gaming rig as well, though I suppose it turbos to 3.2ghz

Those 900p displays will not be worth it at all

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Instead of the older 5000 series Xeons you may want to go with like an E5 2670. 8 core and 16 threads for only about 70us on Ebay. It is the CPU I use.

My Work in Progress PC http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/522048-xeon-build/ <-- That PC was built but never booted:(

My Work in Progress PC 2.0 https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/540583-xeon-build-20-code-name-xenox (Hopefully this one boots.)
