Activate Windows... ?

I have the message: Activeer Windows, Ga naar instelling om windows te activeren [NL] -> Activate Windows, Go to settings to activate windows.

I have this laptop almost for a year, I bought it from someone else who upgraded from win 7 prem to win 10 prem, And now.... I randomly got this message at the right bottom of my screen.

I tried to enter the product key at the buttom of my laptop but not working, i searched it and of course it won't work because it is a windows 7 key.

Can someone help?

Btw now I want to login at my skype and i got the error: Acces violation at adress 6A2CA004 in module mshtml.dll.. Is this because windows blocked something?

(Sorry for bad English I'm from Belgium.)

I don't think that, the sticker is at my pc, and first it was working windows 10 pro, he also is an IT'er so, i don't think that.

guten tag, it looks like you need to find a new product key for windows 7 or try this. go into CMD and type in slmgr -rearm then press enter and reboot your computer. then try entering in the product key in again.

The keys should be paralell with the upgrades

 If re-entering the key doesn't work then you could try reverting to win7(google a how to) or use the appnee reloader v2.2 final but that is not recommended and this forum does not encourage such programs

Worst case scenario, you could reinstall Win7, activate it with the sticker product key; do the upgrade from Win7 to Win10, then activate it again. The product keys from 7 don't work with 10, and upgrade keys are different than OEM 10 keys. Kind of a pain in the balls, but if you google, 'windows 7 to 10 product key' there are several Microsoft KB articles about it.

they do work because ive done it once before, i used a win 7 key to reactivate my old OEM desktop tower than i upgraded to 10 but the HDD in it died so i had to do a win 10 clean install on a new HDD

Ok, This is an hp :) envy 17 1050eb , i enterend that command in cmd, reboot and now the message is gone, i can login at skype but it still isn't activated, i try to enter the code now.

if you call microsoft they will help fix it for you

they dont call you, you need to call them

 

and no a computer store cannot help with windows activation
