is the Fractal Design Core 3000 quiet

maddogl

i have a friend who is gonna do some huge overhauls to his build starting with this case and me and him are wondering is it quiet?

he is gonna have a

4670 cpu

2 7870 he has one already

1 2tb hdd

stock fans

and possibly a h100 in the future how quiet will this be without modding anything

also fan controller might be needed so he can adjust the noise levels himself

It's pretty quiet: http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/cases/2013/01/21/fractal-design-core-3000-review/4

Fyi, the H100 comes with loud fans. Replace them if he gets one.

if you say that he'll get noctua fans, then i don't see why it wouldn't be quiet

the only other thing that you could do to that case is add those noise absorbing foams if you care that much about the noise - even with noctuas :P

Check out the build: Used to be Obot, now Lilith

Shameless: Me
