Transplant problem!

i have an old packard bell that worked fine in the orginal state. i decided to transplant the mb to another case to start a build with a new psu, case and gpu. however, on the pre test it wont boot up, shorting the power pins does nothing, no boot at all. someone help?

 

 

P.s i have been wearing an antistatic wrist strap throughout the whole process

Quick question first... Are you connecting the display cord through the GPU? Have you tried using the Onboard GPU? When you transplanted, did you change any part from the old PC?

you sure the power switch on the PSU is on? all cables plugged in?

i doesnt have onboard, ive changed the psu and gpu

That's defenitely a power problem. Make sure you've plugged in the correct 24 Pin and 4 pin connector from the PSU.

as far as im aware yes

what are the yellow connectors?

I can't tell whether fan connectors or power connectors you don't have plugged in

tryed with old psu and it works, damnn i likes this psu aswell
