I wouldn't say 'exactly identical'. Be sure to watch your wording. 

Also, frequency alone is not a good measure for comparing performance.

You my friend are clueless. Do you see the amd video cards in my pic. I am typing this post on an phenom ii x6. I've owned amd since they were 450 mhz. So i suggest you find someone else to troll. A person who isnt a fanboy looks at numbers and performance, not brand. The fx8350 has a single thread cinebench score of 1.11 while the 4770k has a cinebench single thread score of 1.78.
