This method will most likely wipe out updated and will force it to re-update everything. Lets say its it unclogs windows update's drain.

Also checked for windows updates and the update service did not find any new updates... Also when I went through the event log, I found that there was an event that said the last shutdown success status was true which was like a min after I turned off the pc tower and rebooted it since it hung when I had the pc restart.

I checked the softwaredistribution log and it shows that windows update successfully found 12 updates yet when I check for updates it says my current device is still up to date.

 

Restarted my pc again and the tower fans/power leds stayed on. Checked the event log after and found this:

@ModuleLFS After spending 7 hours chatting with microsoft tech support, I think I found a solution. Just waiting on the file to download.
