Best silent case that isn't a H440 or a define R5

Bolodin

Hey everyone,

does anyone know a Desktop Case that is silent, yet isn't either an NZXT H440 or a Fractal Design Define R5. My budget is around 100$/€. Please help, i have had an eye on the be quiet! Silent Base 600, but i heard that it isn't even that silent. Thanks.

Most cases can be "silent" with quiet fans at low RPM's.

Phanteks Eclipse P400S.

I used to be quite active here.

Just dont make the same mistake as I did when I bough CoolerMaster Silencio.

And if you have loud HDD there is no case that can isolate the noise and vibration.

Fractal Design Define S is pretty good, its a Define R5 without the optical drives and some other features

I got Silencio 452 and its ridiculous that it actually went to production . Front dust filters useless since air doesnt flow there at all, bottom (PSU) air intake way too small and restrictive, zero room for cable management. It feels like they used some $5 case and mounted sound dampening meterials on side panels.

Not to mention that both fans that came with case have terrible clicking noise.

The case itself doesn't make noise so I'm not sure who told you the Base 600 isn't quiet, but with quiet hardware in there it'll dampen the remaining CPU cooler noise or HDD nosie, etc. It's a very quiet case. Watch the HardwareCanucks review:
