My friend is trying to boot off a Windows 10 using UEFI. When he does it, it just freezes. He can only boot off the option with no UEFI. I need it to boot off of UEFI because he needs to install on a GPT partition table. The motherboard is an MSI A88X-G45 Gaming.

P.S. would it be possible that iBuyPower/CyberPowerPC would've changed something in the BIOS that would've affected this? That's where he got his PC from.

Try reinstalling the ISO in the USB. Try resetting CMOS by pulling out the battery for 1 minute and putting it back in.

Hope this helps :P

Your usb flash drive is somehow not setup correctly with uefi that's why it freezes. Does this build come with a recovery disc, use that to reinstall the OS or download the USB version from MS and it will create a proper one with uefi support for you.

I created it using the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft.
