The "list price" on amazon and the savings are always never realistic. 

 

Okay, they are often "technically true", but the items almost always are never sold for the list price. Most TPM modules seem to be less than $20.

As a retailer I know the problem of the "recommended retail price" all too well.
Manufacturers like to set it as high as possible, so retailers have the advantage of saying: "This would usually cost $200, but now it's 23002034% off, because we're awesome".
