Never had a problem, spent hundreds of USD there.  But just make sure you pay for the G2A shield thing as a "backup plan"

Also buy from the sellers that have more ratings/sales, even if it's a few extra cents.

I've used them multiple times. I would use their "shield" thing which ensures you get a working code, though. I've had one or two codes that didn't work, but got a new one from using their shield thing.

Also, I wouldn't really advise pre-ordering. Wait for reviews to see if the game runs like crap.

I've successfully bought a few games from G2A. As stated above, use the shield (additional ~$1) when checking out to guarantee a legitimate key.

Many do not like G2A due to how they get a lot of their keys besides from others selling their steam gifts/keys on the site. G2A will buy thousands of cheap keys from countries where games are a lot cheaper and then resell at a higher price on their site. Definitely not liked by many in the gaming industry.

Lot's of them can also be from people using their steam money from steam skins and then re-selling on a "safe" platform.

As a seller myself the codes I've reselled have been bought here in Sweden during sales, strictly second hand and the cases are still in my room with their receipts. Although I've only sold like sixty games.

It's the wholesale bastards that are sketchiest in my opinion. They roam other sites internationally, resell charity games and resell third-hand game codes.

Remember that g2a is very much alike ebay, they just list the deals, (and rip us sellers off with a comission of 35 cents + 8% of the sales price)

EDIT:

Don't trust the country thingy either. They ban the sales of keys added through a vpn, but they'll still use the vpn to determine where you live, so now I'm apparently living in the Netherlands.
