I always hoped for a pre events game, where the nano suits are used in more modern combat, not the alien stuff. Although that's where most games are these days right.

CryTek are one of the FPS developers that has their own style and unique approach to FPS gaming, so I really hope that Crysis 4 is on its way. I couldn't find anything referencing a Crysis 4 in an internet search, though, and I didn't hear Cevat Yerli mention Crysis during his part of the Capsaicin presentation:

considering that many of the top crytek/cryengine guys now work on Star Citizen i don´t have the biggest confidence in them anymore. but i still hope they pull it off.

isnt the whole poilnt of crysis is that its a PC ONLY GAME

 

so its 1 of the games that us pc master race bloodline of people can actualy look at as being heavily optimised and know that its made to max out our parts inside our pc's insted of having console limitations in mind?

Crysis 3 still has the best graphics out there. The story is quite good in context, but in practice it is rushed over and not fleshed out, Crysis 2 has a great story. The Multiplayer is awful, the maps are great, the modes are great, but the devs didn't do any balancing at all.

I like Crysis 3, played through it twice. It has its ups and downs, but so do the other Crysis'.  It's a solid FPS, with a unique setting, plot, and mechanics.
