R9 380 sounds at high fps

Hi i just bought a new computer with an r9 380 and a 6600k and following my amazement by the fact that Csgo and League  were running at 300 fps+ i heard some really strange sounds from my graphics card at these high fps numbers. I am using amd free sync therefore i dont want to limit my fps below 200. Does anyone else have a similiar problem with that card or a diffrent one?

i have not experienced  this issue with my MSI R9 380 4GB even when i crank it up on BO3

It is an issue with basically any card, it is known as coil whine. See if you can set an FPS cap on the game

That's coil whine, it happens on most cards these days at very high FPS. You can always lower the max FPS by using AMD's Crimson software.
Setting it to 144fps max should do the trick.
