Nepton 140XL, push pull. Fans at 6000 RPM.

Is it normal to be at 6000 RPM and 35C? 5820k OCed to 4.5GHz.

The fans are connected to a single header on the mobo with a splitter.

Thanks.

Is it even normal for a fan to be at 6000 rpm?

It may be each fan at 3000 RPM?

Not sure.

ummm, your fans cannot go 3000rpm, much less than 6000rpm at 12-volts. they are rated 2000 rpm  ± 10% max.

either the splitter has both RPM signals wired or the monitoring software has an error reading them correctly. what does your UEFI show for CPU_FAN speed?

unplug splitter from header and test each fan on that header to verify fan speed.
