144hz Monitor vs New Streaming PC

MoInMo
Go to solution Solved by Pauleh,

Go for the monitor, because a monitor should last you several builds. I just retired my HP pavilion F1503 from 2003 a year ago. 144hz is worth it, especially for csgo. Just make sure it has a 1ms response time.

Hey guys. I wasn't sure where to put this, so I figured this made the most sense. I am either thinking about getting a 144hz monitor for CS:GO, or starting a nseco d build because I found an 8350 and 990fx extreme 3 mobo for $100 total. I do t know what would be better for me. Any help is great. Thanks

mobos come and go my friend, but the monitor will be with you for probably at least twice as long as the motherboard itself.

Ok. It is the Asus VG248QE. Is that a good monitor?

Yup! Looks good, great picture, great price, and it's made by Asus. What more can you ask for?
