Ants in Laptop

g12601

As the title says, that's what happened. A few days ago I spilled some juice on it. I thought it would be fine, but I was wrong. I am not sure what to do now. I need help on getting them out. I have included some pictures, not sure if anyone will be able to see the ants.

Well there is a first for everything i guess...

Your best bet is to open it up and clean it out and make sure there is no residue from orange juice or corrosion caused by it on the motherboard or PCB including ants. You can clean it off with 99% isopropyl alcochol.

In all seriousness, what about ant repellent? Don't spray directly into the ports, but let the fumes kill them. As for the internals, try take the laptop apart and try give the parts a clean.

well the first computer bug was a moth. i would recommend flushing them out with isopropyl or some sort of non invasive (as in does not condense) bug spray

Just do what you can to clean the components. With the juice gone the ants should leave.
