Budget 1440p gaming monitor?

cookiemelon

I would like to upgrade from my current 1080p monitor to a 1440p monitor. My budget is 300 USD. I would like to game on it so if it is optimized for gaming that would be great.

Please help.

Cheers,

Michael

My personal 1440p --- here ---

only 25" but it's IPS, bezel-less on 3 sides, has little to no light bleed and mine overclocked to 85hz

I was about to say "but what about IPS." I see that argument isn't really valid now.

Does it still make sense to buy Korean monitors off ebay? I did some research a while ago and got two X-Star DP2710s and they seem pretty good.
