Note:Seems my gpu is running a bit slow. might be something wrong.

VR Ready! Honestly didn't expect it. Looks like I need to scrape together $800...

Portable Workstation.

Sony Vaio SVS15125CN

intel core i5-3210M

nVidia GeForce GT640M LE

SanDisk Ultra SSD 240GB

Toshiba HDD 1TB

12GB RAM (8GB Crucial + 4GB Onboard)

 

Every time i do the test it detects Intel HD graphics only. I tried disabling the integrated graphics from device manger, doing that crashes steam vr performance test. Also in the bios i only have an option of disabling dedicated graphics card. nothing for integrated graphics. I have a gtx640m le. I know its not enough for vr performance. still i would like to know how it performs.

gtx 960 4gb (overclocked)

 

the 960 is basically a bit less powerfull 970 so i think i wont have any problems running vr

I was honestly surprised with my rig, considering I heard people needed 980 ti's and core i7 just to run it as they said, normally. But high is still great for VR :D

go to the nvidia control panel and select the vr performance test and run it with ur gpu
