The important information of this post are the last paragraph and the image.

After years of avoiding yet another online community, I've decided to give-in and participate in this survey (mainly because for the past 3 months I've been watching LTT videos every day, good stuff LMG.)
I have a very interesting set of data that I started to compose an infograph for, but never finished.

I hope others see this post in the seemingly endless sea of others, because I found my data to be exactly what Luke is looking for.
"I wanna figure out what is JUST going to be able to make it."

I ran tests for over 2 hours that had 6 combinations and 5 redundancy checks. The information I gathered doesn't matter in the end, because I found an interesting kink that had nothing to do with my hypothesis which was "Different monitor resolutions affect the performance of the Steam VR Benchmark" (I actually started writing down my entire scientific method for the data, but 3 paragraphs in, I thought no one in their right minds would want to read so much text just to find out that the results didn't significantly change... Though Luke's Workshop seems to think otherwise :P)

My main discovery was that it didn't really matter what resolution I ran the benchmark at, as the data fluctuated frequently, but very little amounts, during each redundancy check.

What I discovered was that it mattered if I had video pre-record enabled in my MSI Afterburner settings. I found I was only able to reach the Ready status if I had both overclocked my GPU by 250Mhz and had Video pre-record enabled (I run most/all games stable at +230Mhz to +250Mhz OC leveling between 63°C and 73°C).

This came as a shock to me. Shouldn't running a buffer put more load on your computer? Why am I getting a better result by enabling a feature that uses more resources (even if it doesn't necessarily mean GPU resources)? If anyone would like to explain, I'd me more than willing to hear what you think is happening. Or if you have another idea of how I can test things, let me know and I'll consider trying it.
