What kind of port is this?

I've been looking through lots of eBay laptop auctions recently, and I saw this port by the power (Image attached) Anyone know what kind of port it is? I don't remember seeing it anywhere. Edit: After a little bit more searching, is it an e-SATA port? I thought it looked a bit like SATA, but those usually have an L shape.
