No. Either sell the GTX 960 and get a better card like the GTX 970 or wait for Pascal/Polaris. One powerful card will always be the better choice over two less powerful ones. The only card I'd recommend to SLI is the GTX 980Ti.

I had SLI GTX 960, and it worked VERY well, however I didn't care for the extra size, power draw, and heat out put into my small room.

Thanks for suggesting . Since i could get a 970 4gb for around 340, and two 960s would equal that price. I think i will have to wait. My 660ti will have to last a little longer!

If you are on a budget, I would say SLI 960s are not a bad idea. You will never get out of the 1080p gaming, but 1080p is a beautiful resolution anyway. Nothing wrong with it. Either that, or you could sell your 960 and buy a MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozen Addition. That will not run as fast as SLI 960s, but its more power per PCI Lane. So you could expand 970 SLIs in the future, making 1440p a gaming reality at a steady 60FPS.

Get the best single card you can afford.  I have SLI and while it's pretty good, I wouldn't do it again if I was buying new cards.  I only did it because I got a really nice discount on the second card about a week after I bought the first.
