Am I missing something? What does Nvidias next generation of GPUs have to do with what LGA 1151 motherboard is the best? Did you even read his post, or are you so obsessed with pascal that you just wanna talk about it in every post regardless of its relevancy?

Don't do drugs. Do hugs!

Sorry about that m8. I've had the same problem in this forum before. You ask a question about one thing, and inevitably someone is just gonna latch on to something else you said that you never asked about, and completely ignore your question. It would help us to help you more, if we knew more what your other components are gonna be using and what you want out of your PC. How much ram are you gonna want? Using DDR3 or DDR4? What form factor do you want? ATX? MicroATX? MiniITX? Any intention to overclock? Budget?

Don't do drugs. Do hugs!

No, I don't care about being "better" or worse than anyone else, I just wanna help the poor guy with the question he actually asked rather than annoy him about something he probably wishes he hadn't even mentioned in the post now, because everyone's talking about that instead of his actual question.

MSI gaming and Asus ROG are both black/red, could finish off with red/black Kingson Hyper X fury DDR3

On a side note, if the components aren't bought yet I would consider a 5820K over the 6700k, early signs are promising for DX12 preferring cores over threads

anything by asus is usually good on the motherboard side. But just curious (i know @Tmt97 might get mad if i bring this up :P ) but i have to know why are you going for a titan x instead of a gtx 980ti unless you plan to do heavy rendering workloads a 980ti outperforms a titan x on just about everything and the general consensus by the forum is that you should go with a 980ti i got flamed when i said i was buying a titan x.

@Tmt97 @Dabasepc Okay guys, there's no need for drama here.

I agree that @Dabasepc did make a mistake by going off-topic but he was just suggesting something. And so there's no need for you (@Tmt97) to be mad over such thing.

I thank you all for your suggestions.

I only went for a Titan X because of its 12GB of VRAM, otherwise I was going to go with a 980 Ti.

What price point are you looking at for your mobo?

Also, 12 gb vram is something not worth it at all. Only a small handful of games use more than 4gb, and that's at 4k. 6gb is more than enough. With that 350 bucks you'd be MUCH better off spending more on other components.

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

if you dont need the 12gb vram, a 980 Ti with aftermarket cooler would outperform the titan X in term of fps-es, just sayin

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

Good point, you actually made me change to a 980Ti now ^_^

I was going for a Titan X because I heard that GTA V was taking 5.8GB of VRAM, but that's probably at 1440p/4K, but I'm gaming at 1080p.

Thanks!
