D5 pump with 1/2 inch ports fit 3/8 I'd tubing?

Guest

Is this possible without worrying about the tubes breaking? I'm using 3/8x5/8 tubing, and most d5 pumps are 1/2 inch

Thanks

You can get pump tops or threaded versions that can accept any fitting you need. another method is to dip the ends of the tube in hot boiling water and to stretch it over the 1/2" barbs which can be done.
