I could give some sort of fancy whimsical explanation, but I think the truth is probably something lame. Apple is popular, Apple has billions if capital, Apple shoves "i" in front of everything for marketing..I have a feeling Intel decided that one day they should copy Apple and add an "i" to sound fancy or something. That's just my theory. :V
