I can't access 3 gigs on my thumbdrive

I have a 4 gb thumbdrive. Somehow when I was formatting it, 3gb has been unallocated and I can't create a new volume no matter what I try.

There is also a 99mb efi system partition I can't get rid of.

What did you format your thumbdrive to?

Format it again, that’s what I did when I had the problem

All I can format is the 50 MB partition that I can access

It is the default FAT for the usable partition

wow, thats ermm... you can have 500000 characters on a text file
